The Magical East Africa
“It seems to me that the natural world is the greatest source of excitement; the greatest source of visual beauty, the greatest source of intellectual interest. It is the greatest source of so much in life that makes life worth living.” —David Attenborough
No one has said it better than Mr. Attenborough.
Back to East Africa I went with Tristan and WanderingThru. But this time I brought along my brother and sister-in-law! I still get teary-eyed thinking about how I was able to share this experience with family. Finally someone “gets” me and why I love theses adventures so much. And why I feel it’s so important to save theses wild spaces and animals.
Our fits stop was the Lamai Wedge. This is a secluded region in the Northern Serengeti, Tanzania, famous for witnessing the Mara River crossings of the Great Migration. We didn’t see a crossing, but did see many many wildebeest thinking about crossing! While there we stayed at Ubuntu Migration Camp. Then we headed off to Mara Naboisho Conservancy in Kenya. My favorite spot in the Mara! Here we stayed at the most beautiful camp ever Naboisho Camp.
So many memories and amazing sighting. I hope I can share theses adventure with more family and friends in the future!
I wanted to share with you some of my favorite photo I took on the adventure!
If you made it this far, thanks for letting me share these wonderful animals with you! And thanks for checking out my photos :)
