Maggie Knapke is a graduate of Boston University Center for Digital Arts in 2009 where she studied visual communication with a concentration in digital photography. She is a conservationist at heart and wants to educate people about the natural world and animals with her photography. Maggie feels that photography is for storytelling and can also be beautiful works of art. In the past she created portraits and photographed events. Although she continues to photography real estate, her love is photographing animals and places she loves to explore. Maggie hopes that her photography will help people become curious, want to learn more and change minds about the beauty of our planet and the importance of the animals that we live with.

Currently Maggie’s main focus with her photography is the animals in Africa. All the images are of wild and free-roaming animals. Maggie has a passion for conservation in Africa and hopes that her photos will connect people to Africa’s disappearing Wildlife.

She has to travel to the Masai Mara, the Mara Naboshio Conservancy in Kenya in August of 2021 and South Africa in 2023.
